  4. The pain usually appears after a meal or it may awaken a person at night and
  5. it often follows the eating of fatty foods. The pain may spread to the back.
  6. CAUSES are not clear at this time. It is the most common type of gallbladder
  7. disease. It is a chronic, gallbladder inflammatory reaction.
  8. TREATMENT. Surgery may be required.
