- Cholecystitis (Chronic)
- SYMPTOMS for the Chronic form may vary. There may be occasional nausea and
- flatulence. There might be pain in the upper right abdomen and the stomach.
- The pain usually appears after a meal or it may awaken a person at night and
- it often follows the eating of fatty foods. The pain may spread to the back.
- CAUSES are not clear at this time. It is the most common type of gallbladder
- disease. It is a chronic, gallbladder inflammatory reaction.
- TREATMENT. Surgery may be required.
